Extended Invitation: The More, The Merrier!
Monday, March 12th, 2007As organizers of the Generative Anthropology Thinking Event (GATE) to be held in Vancouver this July 26 through 29, we are happy to be able to extend the deadline for presentation proposals until March 31st.
Our current list of presenters includes Eugene Webb (University of Washington), Adam Katz (Quinnipiac University), Matthew Schneider (Chapman College), Peter Koper (Central Michigan University), and Ian Dennis (University of Ottawa). Eric Gans will be the conference’s featured speaker. Others are planning to attend, both as presenters and as non-presenting participants.
The conference is shaping up to be a most exciting event.
Meanwhile, we have spaces available in our tentative agenda for more presenters.
There is also room for more non-presenting participants who’d like a weekend in beautiful Vancouver, attending discussions and socializing with GA enthusiasts. Please let us know if you would like to attend in any capacity. We welcome your interest and your questions.
We’d be grateful, too, if you would forward the Call for Papers to academic colleagues and to graduate students who might be interested in learning more about generative anthropology in a friendly setting.
Best regards
